OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine!

Alright, so I lied, I thought I wasn't going to get anything else from the Germany collection but I did because I had a coupon for Ulta and picked it up pretty cheap. Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine! is a dark grey with a slight green tint to it. What's nice about it though is it isn't so dark that it looks black all of the time. I have been searching for a dark grey like this for a while. Picture is two coats with top coat and the formula was great.

Orly Buried Alive And Icing After Party

Hey, I hope you are having a great weekend! Ours has been pretty relaxing. While I was scouting out Ulta yesterday I spotted the Halloween OPI polishes and the Sally Hansen strips along with a few other brands of polish strips, hopefully the other Halloween collections will be out soon. I can't wait to start doing Halloween designs!
Buried Alive, from the Dark Shadows collection, is a brown with red, gold and maybe even a little green shimmer, It's hard to tell. I picked this up several weeks back on sale at Sally's but haven't had a chance to try it, I like it though. Picture is two coats with top coat and the formula was great.

Another polish I have been waiting to try is Icing After Party, a multi-colored shredded glitter. Picture is one coat with top coat over Buried Alive. It was a little on the thick side and the glitter has a tendency to not lay flat. It is pretty and very interesting but it's a pain to try and get the glitter flat.

Alligator/Crocodile Skin with Tutorial

Hey guys! As promised, today I have a tutorial. This started out with me trying to do some kind of elephant skin but it ended up alligator/crocodile skin print instead.

If you would like to see the tutorial keep reading!

China Glaze Elephant Walk

Hey! I hope you are having a great week so far. I know I am probably behind all of you but I just read The Hunger Games book over the weekend and finished watching the movie last night. I have to say, like most everyone does, the book was by far better than the movie. Have any of your read the book and watched the movie? Which did you like better?
Elephant Walk is from the China Glaze On Safari collection for fall. It's a green tinted grey with silver shimmer. The shimmer is just enough that you barely notice it unless in bright light but makes it more interesting than just the boring grey creme. My bottle was a little on the thick side and didn't even out on its own. Picture is two coats with top coat.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for a nail art tutorial!

China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard and Gleam Me Up

Hey guys! How was your weekend? I spent mine organizing my polish room and painting my Melmer. Yes, as sad as it is, it didn't even make it through the weekend without ending up painted leopard print. What can I say, I couldn't help myself.
I'm With The Lifeguard is from the Summer Neons collection, it's a bright neon lime green with a ton of light gold shimmer. The formula on this one was a bit thin but it does dry fast being neon. Since this is neon it does dry somewhat matte and you will need top coat if you want it to be glossy. Picture is three coats with top coat.

I also picked up China Glaze Gleam Me Up, a blue glitter crack polish, on sale last week and had to try these two together. I don't know if it is just my bottle but it seems very thin, making it sheer, which doesn't show well. Maybe I need a difference background color?

OPI Deutsche You Want Me Baby

Hi guys! I finally broke down today and made a trip to Michaels and bought my first Melmer because my polish has been sadly sitting in a huge box on the floor. When we moved we got rid of some of our furniture since we didn't know where we would be living and how much space we would have so I ended up not having much storage for my polish. Since we don't live near an IKEA I went for the next best thing and I have to say I am pleased, it holds a lot more than I thought it would.
Today I have the last polish I picked up from the Germany collection, Deutsche You Want Me Baby. I saved my favorite of the bunch for last. Deutsche You Want Me Baby is a rusty orange with a gorgeous shimmer, it seems to glow. It really makes me think of fall, mostly Halloween which you all know I love and can't wait for! Picture is two coats and it was perfect formula wise.

What is your favorite season? I have always adored fall; the weather, the colors, it has always been my favorite!

OPI German-icure

Hi everyone! I think I have finally sorted out where my polish and things will go, it will be amazing to have a space set aside to do nail art again. We also finished getting our fish tank set up yesterday but it took a bit of thinking outside the box to get our hanging overhead light to work with the vaulted ceilings where it is setup. I am just happy not to have a ton boxes all over though.
Moving along, today I have German-icure, another polish from the OPI Germany collection. German-icure is a dark red with a brown base and red, somewhat gold, shimmer. It's hard to describe, low light makes it less red but get it in sunlight and it is fabulous! I almost didn't get this one since I'm not much of a red fan but am I sure glad I did. Pictures are two coats. Again, like Every Month Is Oktoberfest, very nice formula, very smooth, no problems.

Have you picked up anything from the Germany collection? I think I like German-icure better than Every Month is Oktoberfest now that I have tried it on!

Wet N Wild Don't Break The Circuit

Hey guys! I was meaning to show another OPI Germany polish today but I had to share an amazing new magnetic I found.
Wet N Wild Don't Break The Circuit is a rich blue magnetic polish with holographic glitter! It is so pigmented that it could be a one coater but I did two since I wanted to try and get a nice design. There is a catch to this polish though, the magnet that this comes with is very weak. In order to get a strong design and get the holo to come out you need a strong magnet. I used the Wet N Wild magnet on my ring and pinky finger but the design barely showed and you are left disappointed with no holo but, if you have a stronger magnet, I used one from my fridge, you can get the holo to come out like you see on the middle and index finger. Picture is two coats with topcoat. I should have let it dry longer before adding top coat because it dulled the design and holo a bit. The only problem with this one is it will stain your nails!

 Keep reading for more pictures.

OPI Every Month Is Oktoberfest

Hi guys! We finally got our internet hooked up the other day and got most of all our things unpacked and into the house. Thankfully, all of my polish made it safe, my drawer set that houses my nail art supplies didn't fair so well, it got a forklift ran through it along with my poor toaster oven, but other than that I can't complain. I have been sorting out and setting up a nail spot but haven't quite decided where I want it to be since the house has a main floor and a basement. Plus, with boxes and everything else thrown about it's tough to set a spot aside at the moment. Needless to say it has been busy here.
Anyways, today I have one of the polishes from the OPI Germany collection for fall. Every Month Is Oktoberfest is a dark, vampy, gorgeously stunning purple-blue base with red, gold and purple shimmer. It is mesmerizing to look at. Pictures are two effortless coats, the formula was perfect and I couldn't be happier with this one!

China Glaze Swanky Silk

Hey everyone, hope your week has been going great, it has been a long stressful past few days for us! We finally closed on our house yesterday and are getting things moved in so I will not have internet for a few days until it gets hooked up. Hopefully, everything will be quick. All of our belongings that have been in shipment will be coming in this week as well and I am excited to have everything and get settled in here.
Continuing today with the second polish I picked up from the China Glaze Bohemian collection is Swanky Silk. It is a gold with a peachy duochrome. This one looked interesting at the store in the bottle, that's the only reason I bought it, on the nail though I was disappointed with it because the duochrome isn't that visible. Picture is two coats. Like Unpredictable it was sheer on the first coat and does leave brushstrokes.

You can see the duochrome better in this picture.

But this is what it looked like most of the time.

China Glaze Unpredictable

Hey guys! Since we have been moving, visiting family and buying a house I have been a bit out of the nail polish loop lately. When I saw the promo pictures for the new China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome collection last week I was excited to get to see them in person. I've been stalking my Sally Beauty Supply the last few days waiting and they finally put them out yesterday. It took awhile to narrow my choices down and I ended up with only two from the collection.
Unpredictable is a metallic golden green with blue duochrome. You can't see the duochrome in the pictures on the nail, it looks much better in real life, but you can see it in the bottle. In real life it reminds me of this beetle. Picture is two coats. It does cover well despite being very sheer on the first coat. The only issue I had was, like most metallic polishes, it does show brushstrokes.

Do you like duochrome polishes? Have you seen the Bohemian collection yet, which are your favorites?
