Happy Memorial Day
Hey guys, it's been a while and I've had a lot of things going on the past few months. I apologize for not posting, I am hoping, though, that now I will be back to somewhat of a more regular schedule.
Today I have a simple Memorial Day design, just an eagle silhouette. I used OPI Absolutely Alice for the pinky, OPI Snowflakes In The Air for the ring finger, and China Glaze Just Be-Claws for the rest. The eagle is done with acrylic paint.

Seahawks vs Broncos
Super Bowl nails! Sorry for the terrible photos, I was in a rush to get pictures before I might ruin them. I don't really have a team I am cheering for today but my good friends are huge Seahawks fans, they're from the state, so I might be cheering for them a little more today.
I used Sally Hansen Navy Baby for the ring fingers and the tips on the index fingers. The rest is done all in acrylic paint with the exception of the blue reflects shimmer, it's a no name polish I bought back in Japan. The seahawk and bronco I did for myself using the nail art sticker method, you can see that here. I made them in my off time at work since it's a pain to paint something like the broncos head on my non-dominate hand
Are you cheering for anyone today?

Native American Nails
Hey guys! I know, I know, I keep falling behind. I don't have any excuses really, but we did adopt a new dog nearly three weeks ago. I also apologize beforehand, my nails look not so great, they have been super sad lately!
These nails were inspired by a client. She wanted a Native American theme, she mentioned feathers, dream catchers, wolves and turquoise. After doing them for her I loved them so much I had to do them on myself. The base is China Glaze For Audrey. The turquoise nails are a bit of blue acrylic paint and gold polish sponged on then I used the water marble technique with black polish sprayed with alcohol. The dream catcher, feathers, and wolf are all done with acrylic paint.

Fourth of July Nails!
Hello everyone! Today I have my Fourth of July nails to share with you. I loved the design I did two years ago, you can see that one here if you like, that I wanted to do something like it again. I based the Bald Eagle head off this picture here since I wanted a more realistic eagle for this year.
The base is Gelish gel polish in Black Shadow for the ring finger and Caution for the rest. The fireworks and eagle are all acrylic paint with the exception of the glitter, which is a glitter striper I picked up in Japan. I did the same thing on my right hand minus the eagle. I did the American flag with Gelish Arctic Freeze, Caution and OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress but didn't get a picture of it.

I hope you guys have a great week! We are off to visit my family for a while but I do have some posts scheduled.

Color Club Over The Moon with Leopard
Hey guys! Today I have Color Club Over The Moon, a beautiful blue strong holographic polish from the Halo Hues 2013 collection. Not much else to say about this one other than it is much better in person, but I couldn't resist adding a bit of leopard on my thumb and ring fingers. The picture below is with top coat.

Spring Flowers
Hey guys! I picked up a few of the China Glaze Avant Garden polishes a while back but with school I hadn't had a chance to try them out until yesterday. I did a flower design inspired by Robin Moses, you can see that video here, on a customer at school last week and I liked the way they turned out and wanted to try them on myself since I don't usually do flowers much.
The base is two coats of Keep Calm, Paint On which is a light mint green with shimmer. The flowers are done with acrylic paint and a bit of China Glaze white cap over the centers.

Sinful Colors Sweet Nothing with Unicorn
Hey guys! It's been a long week for me. On Monday I started Nail Tech School! I wasn't sure if I was going to announce it here but thought I should. It's something I have been wanting to do for a while now and finally just decided to go for it. If everything goes as planned I should graduate the end of April or beginning of May.
Today I have Sweet Nothing, from the Sugar Rush Collection, a beautiful turquoise blue. I paired it with Unicorn, a light yellow, since they seemed to compliment each other fantastically. Picture is two coats of Sweet Nothing with Unicorn Dotted around the cuticle on my ring finger followed by top coat.

A Few Sinful Colors Sugar Rush Polishes
Hey guys! We have been having a snowstorm here and it's been coming down since yesterday afternoon. I think we've had about eight inches or so. Anyways, before all the snow hit, I took advantage of Walgreen's sale on Sinful Colors polishes and picked up three from the new Sinful Colors Sugar Rush collection.
Sugar Rush is a light blue, not really unique but I still love it. Picture is two coats with top coat.
Cotton Candy is a light pink with a hidden silver shimmer. Picture is three coats with top coat.
Sweet Tooth, my surprise favorite, is a light purple with hidden shimmer. Picture is two coats with top coat.
I almost didn't notice the hidden shimmer in some of these and actually didn't know Sweet Tooth had the shimmer until I got it home and tried it out. An added bonus, the formula on all three were good, not hard to work with for being light pastel shades.

China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'N Pieces
Hey guys! Just a short and sweet post today. I picked up three of the new China Glaze Bitz 'N Pieces polishes yesterday and couldn't wait to try them out.
Graffiti Glitter is a clear base with various sizes of green and black hex glitter and black bar glitter. Picture is one coat of Graffiti Glitter over white with top coat.
Mosaic Madness is a clear base with various sizes of blue and black hex glitter and black bar glitter. Picture is one coat of Mosaic Madness over white with top coat.

Glitz 'N Pieces is a clear base with various sizes of silver and black hex glitter and black bar glitter. Picture is two coats of Glitz 'N Pieces over white with top coat.
While all of these seem to be fairly packed with glitter the large black hex glitter is a bit sparse and you sometimes need to fish it out if you want it on the nail.

Happy New Year!
Hey guys, I can't believe this year is over, it seems like it has flown by! I had to do something for the end of the year, since I didn't really have a design in mind before hand I did fireworks with 2013 written on my ring finger. The base is China Glaze Blue Bells Ring with Finger Paints Santa's Magic on my ring finger, the fireworks and 2013 are acrylic paint.
This is before I outlined the 2013 with black, it just didn't stand out enough.

Gift Cards For Everyone! and The Living Daylights
Gift Cards For Everyone!, from the Ulta Holiday Exclusive polishes, is a dark purple with blue shimmer. In the bottle it's gorgeous but a bit disappointing on the nail. Unfortunately, the blue shimmer gets lost unless you are in bright light. Picture is two coats with top coat but it could have used a third.
The Living Daylights, from the Skyfall 007 collection, is a clear base with silver, teal, copper and light gold glitter. Picture is one coat of The living Daylights on my ring finger over Gift cards for everyone.

Revlon Midnight Sparkle
Hey guys! I came across the new Revlon Holiday display last week: Just Add Sparkle, the display had a few glitter polishes but one caught my eye. Revlon Midnight Sparkle is a very dark blue base with small and large silver hex glitter. I do feel like the base is so opaque that the glitter seems to get lost in it a bit but it is still beautiful. Picture is two coats of Midnight Sparkle with top coat, although it is opaque enough for one coat.

Gradient Tiger with Subaru Logo
Hi guys! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving yesterday if you celebrated it and are having a fantastic Friday. A super quick post today, these nails are from a few weeks ago. I did a simple but much loved tiger print with a slight green to blue gradient with glitter. The base is OPI Alpine Snow with China Glaze Splish Splash and Wet N Wild Caribbean Frost for the gradient, ORLY Mermaid Tale for the glitter and black acrylic paint for the stripes.
After a few days of wearing it like this my husband and I went to a Subaru car meet and I had to do the Subaru World Rally Team stars and 555 logo since we're both fans.

China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away, A Few Of My Picks
Hey guys, today I have a few polishes from the China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away that ties in with the Cirque Du Soleil movie coming out soon. I was really excited for these to pop up and was lucky enough to be there when my store put them out and got first pick!
Get Carried Away is a sheer black jelly base with small black and white hex glitter, medium red, silver and black hex glitter, and black bar glitter. It is thick and chunky and would benefit from some thinner. I really prefer this one layered, at three coats a lot of the glitter gets lost. Picture is three coats with top coat.
It's A Trap-eze! is a milky white base with small and medium multicolored glitter. The formula was a bit thick as well. Picture is three coats with top coat.
I paired Whirled Away and Running in Circles because I thought they would look amazing together.
Whirled Away is a clear base with black bar, black medium hex and large white hex glitter. I have to admit I was slightly disappointed by it, the white glitter in this on is sparse, really any of the glitter in this one is, and you have to somewhat fish it out to get any. Running In Circles is a sheer green glass flake and is absolutely gorgeous! Picture is two coats of Running in Circles followed by two coats of Whirled Away with top coat. Please excuse the dog hair on my middle finger, our dog has long hair to begin with but is currently shedding.
Water You Waiting For is a blue base with blue, green and purple glitter. It certainly does remind me of water. Picture is three coats with top coat.
Have you spotted these out yet? What are your favorites?

OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service vs. Sinful Colors Winter Wonder
Hey guys! First off I have been experimenting with my photos. I made a new lightbox backdrop and changed my lighting set up so it might be a few days before I get everything tuned in and you will probably see a few pictures with my old set up as well.
Anyways, I had to post this today because I was out yesterday and found Sinful Colors Winter Wonder and thought it looked similar to something I just bought. Turns out, it is. It's a very close dupe for OPI On Mer Majesty's Secret Service, though OPI might have slightly larger particles in it. They are both a blue base with blue, green, pink and gold shimmer. Pictures are three coats of Winter Wonder on my index and ring finger and three coats OPI On Mer Majesty's Secret Service on my middle and pinky finger, both with top coat. Even at one coat they look exactly the same and if I didn't know any better I wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

China Glaze Bizarre Blurple and Make A Spectacle
Hey guys! Today I have the last two polishes from the China Glaze Wicked collection for Halloween.
Bizarre Blurple, as the name suggests, is a purple base packed with blue shimmer. Picture is two coats with top coat.

Make A Spectacle is a clear base with various sizes of iridescent glitter. I was surprised with this one, at first I thought I wouldn't care for it but now that I have tried it I really do like it. Picture is one coat of Make A Spectacle over Bizarre Blurple.

Rainbow Honey The Yokai Collection
Hey guys! Today I have a new collection from Rainbow Honey called The Yokai collection. If you haven't heard of Rainbow Honey before, they make some amazing polishes and I am blow away by their packaging as well, you can check them out at RainbowHoney.com or on Facebook.
The Yokia is a limited edition collection that is set to release on October 13th. It includes Kitsune, Oni and Kawako. First up is bottle shots and the packaging.
Now for the polishes in the Yokai collection.
Kawako, the mischievous river child, a deep blue base with small silver and blue flakes and what seems like iridescent larger flakes, you might be able to spot one on my ring finger. It does make application of this polish a little more difficult because some of the larger flakes tend to hang over the edge of the nail but it is manageable. Picture is two coats with top coat.
Kitsune, the magical white fox, is a light nude base packed with brown glitter, orange and gold holographic glitter along with a fine gold shimmer. Picture is two coats with top coat. This one was a bit thick but nothing a few drops of thinner shouldn't be able to take care of.
I saved my surprise favorite for last, Oni, the malevolent wild demon, a dark brown base with gold and purple flakes. I think it is absolutely stunning! Picture is two coats with top coat.

China Glaze Immortal
I finally spotted the China Glaze Wicked collection for Halloween yesterday in our area. At first, I wasn't loving really anything but after seeing them in person I couldn't decide which ones to get. Roguish Red is pretty boring but I loved the rest!
First up today is Immortal, it's a light grey with blue and purple shimmer. I have to say I think this might be my favorite of the collection. Picture is two coats with top coat but could have used a third in some spots.
