More Robots...

Hey guys! A super quick post today. If you saw my last post on Rainbow Honey The Robots Collection you know this design was inspired by the artwork done by Mary Winkler for it.
I used Lucky Bot on the thumb and ring finger and a gradient with Skyward Bot and Bitty Love Bot on the rest with a bit of Yoshimi over all. The robot and stars are done with acrylic paint.

Rainbow Honey The Robots Collection

Hey guys! Today I have The Robots Collection from Rainbow Honey to share with you! This collection consists of five metallic shades and a glitter topper. Dee, RH's Chief Designer, took inspiration from anime, video games, super cheesy B films, and the work of Mary Winkler for this collection.
Pictured below is the new mini 4ml bottles from Rainbow Honey. I am impressed with the mini bottles, the brushes were nice and I had no issues.

I am always blow away by the packaging and special touches by Rainbow Honey.

First up is Femme Bot, a metallic peony.

Bitty Love Bot, a beautiful metallic aqua.

 Dusty Bot, a metallic lavender.

Lucky Bot, a metallic agave. Picture below is with two coats of Yoshimi, a clear base with multiple sizes of black and white square glitter with just a sprinkling of holographic glitter.

Skyward Bot, a metallic cerulean. Picture below is with two coats of Yoshimi.

All pictures are two coats with top coat with the exception of Lucky Bot and Skyward Bot which have two coats of Yoshimi layered with top coat. The formula was great on all of these, they only needed two coats and dried very fast.
The Robot Collection is available now at RainbowHoney.com and participating retail partners around the globe in full and mini sizes. RainbowHoney.com is also offering free shipping on all orders of $50 or more, in the US and Canada, and a free secret polish, which can also be purchased separately.

Rainbow Honey The Sweet Talk Collection

Look at the nice surprise I found in my mailbox yesterday, two of the three polishes from the new collection by Rainbow Honey called The Sweet Talk Collection! Just in time for Valentine's day!

First up, Sweet Talk is a white jelly base with a mix of light blue, pink and purple medium and small hex glitter with a hidden pink shimmer. You can see the hidden shimmer a bit in my middle finger. Picture is three coats with top coat. This is a top coat thirsty polish so you will need a few coats to make it smooth.

Now for my surprise favorite! Xoxo is a clear base with red medium and small hex glitter and packed with a ton of holographic microglitter. This one is stunning in person! Honestly, I wasn't blown away by it in the bottle but on the nail, especially over black, it is amazing! Picture is two coats of Xoxo alone on my index and pinky, one coat of Xoxo over black on my middle and one coat of Xoxo over white on my index finger, all with top coat.

There is also a third polish in this collection called Be Mine, which is a pink with microshimmer and gold flecks.
The Sweet Talk Collection will be available on Fab.com 1/16 and will be officially released on 1/25 at 12:01 AM EST at RainbowHoney.com and participating retailers
Last, but definitely not least, is a $5 off coupon to use on any purchase at RainbowHoney.com! The promo code is SWEETTALK$5 and it expires on 2/28/2013. Also, if you spend $25 or more you get free shipping in the US and Canada!

Rainbow Honey The Yokai Collection

Hey guys! Today I have a new collection from Rainbow Honey called The Yokai collection. If you haven't heard of Rainbow Honey before, they make some amazing polishes and I am blow away by their packaging as well, you can check them out at RainbowHoney.com or on Facebook.
The Yokia is a limited edition collection that is set to release on October 13th. It includes Kitsune, Oni and Kawako. First up is bottle shots and the packaging.

Now for the polishes in the Yokai collection.
Kawako, the mischievous river child, a deep blue base with small silver and blue flakes and what seems like iridescent larger flakes, you might be able to spot one on my ring finger. It does make application of this polish a little more difficult because some of the larger flakes tend to hang over the edge of the nail but it is manageable. Picture is two coats with top coat.

Kitsune, the magical white fox, is a light nude base packed with brown glitter, orange and gold holographic glitter along with a fine gold shimmer. Picture is two coats with top coat. This one was a bit thick but nothing a few drops of thinner shouldn't be able to take care of.

I saved my surprise favorite for last, Oni, the malevolent wild demon, a dark brown base with gold and purple flakes. I think it is absolutely stunning! Picture is two coats with top coat.

Do you have a favorite from this collection, will you be picking any up?
