A Quick Update And A Recreation From Another Blogger!

Hey guys, no polish today, sorry! I did want to let you know that I am changing a few things around here as well as trying to organize and upload my pictures to FaceBook and Pinterest so I apologize if you have any issues while I work on it. Anyways, please bear with me while I try to get things together and make sure everything works right. If there is anything new you would like to see just let me know! I am working on a FAQ page that should be up soon.
One other thing, Karina over at Paint My Nails Pretty tried out my V-Day tiger print nails a while back and I think she did a great job for her first time sponging! I meant to post them ages ago but have been slacking recently, I'm sorry! You can check them out here if you would like to see them.
I will be back tomorrow with a gorgeous french mani!

Just Letting You Guys Know

I will probably be absent the next few days. I know I have been posting regularly for a while now but my cat back in the states was put to sleep yesterday and I don't feel much like posting anything at the moment. I have some swatches and things to share but I don't think I will get around to it this week.
Thanks to Marketta, Carolina, Marta and everyone else for participating and commenting on the 10 Day Challenge, I had fun. I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it and a safe weekend.

It's So Nice To Be Back

Hi girls, it is nice to be back home, I missed blogging. Guam was beautiful, we had a great time and I picked up some goodies while I was there. They had several discontinued OPI's that I just couldn't pass up, a few even on sale.
The Salon Effects lasted through our trip as well. I was really surprised that it held up with swimming for hours every day. I did scratch them a bit snorkeling and ripped a small edge off on my ring finger but that was completely my fault. The only problem I had was when I took them off earlier my nails were stained but after a little cuticle remover and whitening toothpaste they are much better.

I hope you all had a great week! Time for me to finish up my Halloween tutorials and catch up on everyone's blogs.

Robin Moses, Zoya and more

Just a quick post, I wanted to let you guys know if you haven't heard about her yet please go to http://www.youtube.com/user/robinmosesnailart, she has some of the most amazing nail art videos. I recently saw her leprechaun and shamrock art tutorial that was so funny, you have to see it!
Also if you haven't registered with Zoya.com yet I hear they will be doing a promotion maybe in the next day or so, very excited about what it might be.
Lastly, hopefully I will be posting some new nail art soon. I still have Teenage Dream on and when that comes off I am drying to do some new nail art!

Ski trip from Hell

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy start to the new year! We went on a ski/snowboard trip on Saturday for the beginning of the new year and unfortunately for me it took a huge toll on my nails so my index and middle fingers are even shorter now. Plus, after we returned I have become a bit sick.
It was a fun trip once we got the the resort, thought we didn't think we were going to get anywhere. A bad storm came through and all the main roads were shut down but we didn't know at the time, we hadn't gotten any snow just a bit of rain. Once we were forced to get off the main road we thought maybe just that part hadn't been cleared yet and tried taking the back roads around to bypass that part and get back the highway. We never made it there. What should have been less than a two hour drive turned into six hours and there was no way we would have ever made it to the resort we planned so we stopped at one near where we were already at.
I really hoped to make it to the other resort but there was no way it was going to happen. Just to get to the one we finally stopped at we had to cut down trees in the road, push cars out of two feet of snow, shovel snow to turn cars around as there was only one lane drivable until finally a road crew came with chainsaws and tractor plows to remove the last few trees that we couldn't get. I am sure if they had not show up we would have been stuck there so many thanks to them!
Just to give you guys an idea of what it was like here are a few pictures. There were three cars with us, one being a huge tall van that we had to cut the limbs off of this tree so it would fit under.

I didn't get pictures of all the trees that were lying down on the road because after this one it went downhill fast and stopped being a fun adventure and we were just hoping we could make it home at that point.

At the mountain at last. They at least had great powder so after a total of nine hours travel time we stayed at the mountain about three hours.

Update

So for the few people that might read this junk of mine I have had a pretty devastating week. First I broke my right hand ring finger last week. This week I broke my left hand ring finger and then to add insult to injury my left hand middle finger cracked almost to the quick. Then we have been somewhat on edge about North and South Korea. So yeah, not a great week for me. I think it is due mostly to moving things around and the holidays. It seems to happen to me every year, all of my nails breaking. They aren't so pretty right now, they are all filed down somewhat short. I put on Mrs. Clause from China Glazes Holiday collection though. Since we will be cooking for about 10 friends Christmas Eve there most likely will not be and new swatches until after Christmas.
Anyways, I am thinking of doing a possible giveaway, maybe sometime after New Year's, and would like to know what some of you would like to receive. I am open to any suggestions be it nail polishes, nail art supplies, or something completely not related to nails. Maybe some Japanese snacks, candies or trinkets? Or a mix of all these things? If you have any suggestions you can send me an email.
