Orly R.I.P.

Hey guys! I haven't really had time to do any Halloween designs but, hopefully, I will this coming week. I am dying to do some nail art but today I have another Halloween nail polish.
Orly R.I.P, from the Spellbound collection for Halloween, is a black jelly base with small and large orange hex glitter. The base is pretty sheer but it builds up well or can be easily layered over black. Personally, I like it alone to get the depth of the glitter in the multiple coats. Picture is three coats with top coat.

Orly Mysterious Curse and China Glaze Haute Metal

Hey guys, I hope you are all doing well. We got the news a few days ago that my husbands grandfather passed away. I only met him for a brief time back in July but from the stories my husband always told he was an amazing person and I know he will be deeply missed, my thoughts go out to his family.
Not much to say today so it will be a quick post with lots of pictures. Mysterious Curse, another from the Orly Dark Shadows collection, is a dark blue/purple with blue shimmer. Picture is three coats with top coat, it was a little thin but nothing too bad.

Orly Buried Alive And Icing After Party

Hey, I hope you are having a great weekend! Ours has been pretty relaxing. While I was scouting out Ulta yesterday I spotted the Halloween OPI polishes and the Sally Hansen strips along with a few other brands of polish strips, hopefully the other Halloween collections will be out soon. I can't wait to start doing Halloween designs!
Buried Alive, from the Dark Shadows collection, is a brown with red, gold and maybe even a little green shimmer, It's hard to tell. I picked this up several weeks back on sale at Sally's but haven't had a chance to try it, I like it though. Picture is two coats with top coat and the formula was great.

Another polish I have been waiting to try is Icing After Party, a multi-colored shredded glitter. Picture is one coat with top coat over Buried Alive. It was a little on the thick side and the glitter has a tendency to not lay flat. It is pretty and very interesting but it's a pain to try and get the glitter flat.

Orly Space Cadet

Space Cadet has to be one of the hardest to capture on camera. It probably didn't help that I took these pictures at night. This is an awesome polish, one I didn't care for in the bottle but once I got it on it was love!
Most of the time it appears to be the color in the pictures but in sunlight or direct artificial light it changes anywhere from gold, green, purple to a copper rust color. It was pretty sheer for me and these pictures are of four coats but it was so worth it. It also dried fairly quick to for having four coats.
